Runway cycling today!

Woke up at about 7.45am today and saw that the weather isn't good. It was dark and gloomy and I hoped that the weather was fine over at the air base. As soon as I was ready to, it started drizzling and it got a little heavier. My bro fetched me to the bus stop and I took bus 70 down to Paya Lebar MRT and then to Eunos to meet Clarice. We then took the free shuttle bus in to the air base itself.

We reached and was blur because we didn't know where to proceed? Followed some people in front where there was a security check and then went to collect our bikes at the booth. Haha after that we didn't know where to start. We cycled inwards towards the tents and where all the noise and excitement was.

I heard a familiar tune and everything soon came back to me again. I was so sure that Bowen Band was actually performing.... And I was right! Saw so many new faces but one I would not forget would be Mrs Chan. Seeing the performance brought me back to the time when I was under the hot sun marching and holding on to my Trombone. I was enduring the heat and the intense training... Those were the times...

Finally, we knew where to start from and embarked on the 15km route. Took a few pics first and then started riding. Surrounding the tracks were like foresty areas so it was kinda nice riding because it gave me the laidback kinda feel. As Clarice said, it would be good for horse riding.

Great exercise and fun today. After that, went to IMM for lunch. I had Nasi Bryani, Clarice had seafood baked rice and we shared a popiah. Was really full after that. Next walked down to Creative's building to send my player for servicing. Yeah.. and I thought I was supposed to leave my player there for repair or something and I have to come down another time to collect it.. But no! They actually gave me a new player as replacement. Heh heh.. not bad after all.

I came back really tired. Took a bath and after packing and doing some stuffs, I fell asleep on bed. I only woke up when the phone rang. It was my mum who told me to get ready to go to my grandma's house as my uncle was coming to pick us up.

My uncle told lots of stories today to everyone. About the happenings at his flat, to some scary stories and told us things in the bible about God and stuffs. It was interesting to hear some of it. Haha he seems lively today and my grandma couldn't believe some of the things he said. She showed us the he-is-talking-rubbish face and said that he had too much to drink which was funny.

That's for today.. Better concentrate on my project and report now..
